If you use a PC, I think you can open one in Wordpad (as opposed to Notepad) and it will look normal. Save/overwrite it from there and it should be OK.

If you use a Mac, I don't know what works for that.

For Mac users, I'd recommend BBEdit Lite, which you can grab from http://www.barebones.com/products/bblite/index.shtml - it's no longer being developed but it's a terrific program.

Thanks for the info. I like to use Notepad more than Wordpad, so I think I will just continue to use the method that I do. Peace.
